¡Hola! I'm a multimedia journalist with over a decade of
experience at a wide range of organizations, from mass media companies to independent outlets and small newspapers. I've worked with Telemundo-NBC News, Democracy Now!, and Spectrum News in the U.S.; El País in Mexico; and La Voz del Interior in Argentina; among others. I focus mainly on migration, politics, and gender and children's rights,
with in-depth field reporting, data analysis and digital storytelling.
My
passion is to create powerful stories that inform, add value and drive change. Whether I cover
breaking news or conduct large-scale
investigations, I leverage my expertise to connect policies to lived realities, promote solutions, and inspire empathy and understanding. I've documented the struggles of
minority students with special needs in New York City and unveiled the inhumane
detention conditions of
migrant children in Mexico. I've worked extensively to provide Latin communities with trustworthy coverage of daily news and major events, including
mass shootings,
migrant deaths at the southern border, and the
Dobbs decision. I've also produced and promoted content featuring increasing numbers of underrepresented
voices, such as
change-making Latina women.
I'm not a lone ranger, but rather I love teamwork, and I believe the best stories come from collaborating. Let's connect and work together!
